No bro, your family cannot apply until Oct 1 as far as i know. Any way dont worry your family will be joining you soon coz the visa rejection chance for H4 is almost nil.

I am on the same boat..Got my approval couple of days back..I think they can apply for h4 after we get h1b but they can come only after oct1,2009...

and keep me posted

I also got H1-B this time. I am trying to bring my wife in F2 visa as I am in F1 till October.
