Nobody knows! You just have to understand the market and bet on companies to do well/do bad and put your money accordingly. My suggestion are 1) diversify your portfolio 2) move slow to move fast, 3) take just the right amount of risk so you will not lose sleep if you lost your money, 4) dollar cost Average , 5) buy on down day, sell on up day.
