This is a story of a 14-years old boy named Dipesh Acharay from Judbela -3, Rautahat, Nepal. For last couple of months his health had been detoriating with constant bleeding from nose and mild fever. A visit to local health post didn’t identify anything major and prescribed some general medicine. However, the symptoms continued more prominently which forced to consult with a specialized physician. On 24th February 2010, Kathmandu Medical College indentified Dipesh with a case of Severe Marrow Hypoplasia (a type of blood cancer). Fortunately, the disease was diagnosed at an early stage that a total cure is possible. However, the patient was suggested to be treated on AIMS hospital on New Delhi, India. This would cost him approx 10 lakhs IC roughly equivalent to $22,000. Being from a marginal family, it would be impossible for Dipesh’s family to raise that amount of money for his treatment.

However, together we can significantly contribute in this cause and give Dipesh a new life. Any contribution is highly appreciated in this critical matter of life and death.
